The play is based on Patsy Cline's relationship with Houston, Texas housewife Louise Segar. The relationship began as fan worship and evolved into one of mutual respect and affection. Segar supplies the narrative while Patsy floats in and out of the story singing all of the songs that made her famous. Based on a true story.
